I am a man who for his entire life (I am 76 now) has appreciated older women, and have had a longtime belief that women do not reach their full beauty until they have reached 40 and have a body that has been LIVED in. I love an older woman who has the confidence to show her body in a positive light.

SW-User Best Comment
Hes not worth her time if hes giving snide remarks. Majority of them are through child birth which has brought a life into this world. So they are a reminder of the miracle that grew inside her body.

@SW-User thanks for best answer x

@SW-User Exactly, if one is so ashamed of those stretch marks he better think of his own existence and mother who went through hell to bring him in this world...what a shallow person. Ugh.
Beardedguy · 31-35, M
Really thats not nice. I have stretch marks 😳
helenS · 36-40, F
A remark like that would have been the last remark he would ever make in my presence.
@helenS Girl, I would slap his face off 😂.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
Stretch marks, C section scars and cellulite are badges of honor. A man turned off by such things is shallow.
Uhohuhoh · 51-55, C
My wife has stretch marks and not only is she the sexiest woman I could ever hope to be with but I love her for her stretch marks and what they are about too
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
@Uhohuhoh hello your married and you have been with her for years that does not count .
Uhohuhoh · 51-55, C
@nitsua837720 of course it does . A ‘new’ man should see the real beauty in the person just like I can with my wife . If they can’t be bothered too she would be better off without them
TexChik · F
Mine really aren’t noticeable and haven’t been since I toned back up and lost the pregnancy weight/flab
curiosi · 61-69, F
Nice that he showed his true colors early on she can now kick him to the curb before she invests too much time.
Montanaman · M
No, not at all. Nobody is perfect, and it's those imperfections that make you special 👍🤗🥰
Oneofthestormboys · 100+, M
Things like that don’t bother me at all. It’s perfectly natural.
Astro · 56-60, M
Men get stretch Mark's too
SW-User
@Astro Not as commonly as women
DareeQn · 26-30, F
If you don't like part of me stay away from all of me. That's pretty shallow of someone. You like what you like but hate when people are judgmental.
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
@DareeQn oh come on , you have never judged a way another man looks ?
Men have them too. Also childless women & young girls. Hes weird & has probably never seen a human woman naked

I love stretch marks. It’s a natural part of a woman
rjc36 · 56-60, M
Some men look for perfection in a world of imperfect people if looks are the only thing they are looking for they are missing the things that matter. Just my opinion
KingofPizza2 · 36-40, M
Anyone who is that put off by stretch marks is likely only ready for a relationship with a blow up doll
SW-User
Is he even an adult? Sounds like something that a kid/teenager would say.
Wow, what a jerk 🙄.
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
Two words "Shallow Idiot".

If a person finds that nasty then I'm sure he'll have an issue with anyone he meets because every one of us isn't perfect. We're human and we are born with imperfections
Faust76 · 46-50, M
Well I mean trouble with these is we listeners don't really know what "nasty remark" is, but esp. on a date that seems like it should qualify as a big, big red flag (I'm assuming they didn't do this just because they wanted to end the date there and then). Asking "does it bother men" isn't even really necessary...

Different aspects of appearance matter to different people though, for whatever reasons, and we've pretty much agreed as a society that's all right. But "nasty" remarks just tell about the person, not a gender.
luctoretemergo · 61-69, M
No...,they are character lines....
I think of them as lines to follow..,,
And obviously most men would never be so rude as to say something about them...
SW-User
It absolutely doesn't bother me and that guy was just a dick. Must be nice to be Mr perfect like him.
SW-User
men shouldn’t get women pregnant if they can’t pay for cosmetic corrections later

I have stretch marks too lol, especially near my biceps.

Who really cares about em?
SW-User
They don’t bother me and that was a horrible comment for him to make
Horrible
walabby · 61-69, M
He showed that he's just a creep. Good riddance!
WellFrog · 56-60, M
I agree with you. To my own way of thinking they are beautiful landmarks that speak of the even greater beauty of motherhood.

But then, I am so often told, I am not like most other men.
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
that guy is immature and does not value women. stretch marks are a beautiful reminder of pregnancies bear them with pride <3
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
@QuietEd2019 females don't only get stretch marks when they get pregnant.
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
@nitsua837720 true but more often than not most women who get pregnant end up with stretch marks
JavaJoe · 51-55, M
Stretch marks matter not in the grand scheme of things. I would tell him he’s just jealous for not being the one to cause them, and move on if I were her...
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
If he is someone "new" how new can he be if he has seen her stretch marks? I think he is asking to be dumped if he makes such a remark!
passion · 56-60, M
He is a loser!
passion · 56-60, M
@passion let's chat!
helenS · 36-40, F
@passion Are you talking to yourself? 😁
passion · 56-60, M
@helenS oops
Jonjdw · 46-50, M
No one is perfect. I love a real natural female body with imperfections.
melbeacher · 56-60, M
No it doesn’t bother me. It is completely natural. Like all men have perfect bodies !!!
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
Uh, they're not men if they're like that.
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
Not all men are born equally , just like females . We all are picky about things . Plus females don't always get stretch marks because of a pregnancy. Some guys like those type of marks and some don't. We can't judge one persons dislikes to another their called flaws. I am sure you have lots of them .
REMsleep · 41-45, F
Men who are more superficial do care about this. I've seen on a vlog that I watch where a guy said that his girlfriend looked really hot with clothes on but now appeared ugly to him because she'd had a baby and he just couldn't feel excited when he saw her stomach. This is silly but becoming more common as we are bombarded with images of perfection in media. Men especially in pornography.
@REMsleep Her body was less “perfect” from having his child and he was turned off ?
What an asshat. 😡
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
How do you know it was a nasty remark ? Where you there when it happen ?
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
@Beautywithin then she needs to know he was bunt about it and very vocal . If he does not like her flaws then he should be with a women he prefers .Its that simple .
QuietEd2019 · 31-35, M
@nitsua837720 because the woman, who has the stretch marks, who is dating that guy said that the guy made a nasty remark about them??
nitsua837720 · 36-40, M
@QuietEd2019 maybe that was her own option and she took it the wrong way . Now I can understand if this lady was only dating him for a short amount of time . You don't want to be that vocal to early on .
vetguy1991 · 51-55, M
Doesn't really bother me
Twoinmanc · 51-55, M
Imperfections can be sexy
Mk8155 · M
I agree that is a shallow person

[image deleted] what’s wrong with some tiger stripes? I don’t support any person body shaming their partners. They’re supposed to be in a support role. To be negative about their body especially an aspect they can’t alter is cruel and I don’t think should be tolerated.
MartinTheFirst · 26-30, M
it bothers everyone. But men got them too.
