Why some people hate God?

They don't hate god.. they just don't believe he/she/it exists and they hate people who bang on about god as if he/she/it is real and ram that religious belief down others throats..

Because they judge God by what they see in humans and assess divine behavior in light of human behavior - rather like expecting a horse to wear a suit and tie.

you cant hate something you're not convinced exists. nobody hates pixies either. you can hate the abuse and discrimination done on behalf of god though and all those responsible for it.

I think some people are petulant and childish in their rejection of religion (since rejections are often forceful and emotional) and it can turn into hate. Other people are just bigoted and hate anything they disagree with.

But in other cases, they're not actually hateful. In the same way that not everyone who believes homosexuality is sinful is "homophobic" or not everyone who criticizes Islam "hates Muslims". Disagreement/disbelief is not the same as hatred.
