How would you explain what SW is to someone who has never heard of it ?

My explanation would first begin with radio waves followed by FM,MW,LW and then SW.

When I first joined I explained it to my friend, and I think I told her that it was an anonymous site where you can post questions/post. I expressed to her that it was cool, because you didn’t know anyone and it was freeing, because of that.
