I'm going to say what I said on the other post. If people are getting confused, it's part of the overall dumbing down of America.
However, I'm going to say that I very much doubt anybody is mistaking veggie burgers or Impossible steaks for the real thing. The packages are already clearly marked, because the fact that the products are plant-based is a selling point. You could even say it is THE selling point. "Hey, this Impossible meat tastes just like a cow, but it's better for you. This almond milk tastes just like dairy, but without the fat and carbohydrates."

@LordShadowfire They are usually in a different part of the store as well. The packaging is totally different as you said.
