Who are you inside, under all those coats of virtue?

We all makes mistakes. We will, until we go home to be with the Lord, but that doesn't mean our soul is dark.

1 John 1:5 - This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

I’m not particularly virtuous. I lack ambition and the courage to face unpleasantness and oftentimes don’t act on what I feel, even when it would be a good thing to do so. Still I don’t think there’s any real darkness in my soul. Flaws, dents, and dings, but no real harm and certainly no malice. I consider myself ordinary, though perhaps my standards are just too flexible.

A certain darkness is needed to see the stars.

When I took a hard look at the truth of myself, I realized I was an extremely weak and angry person. I'm changing it, but that was the truth of me.
