@PainfulTruth And what makes you think you aren’t doing exactly the same sort of stupidity just from a different direction
SW-User
He honestly doesn't know that much

@SW-User 😂😂

The chain is German. As is Aldi.

Lidl is the correct spelling and most Britons pronounce it that way, with a hard 'i', but I don't know if that's correct.

[Edited to add a missed word.]

Do they have stores in America?
helenS · 36-40, F
@ViciDraco You can find them everywhere in Europe. I think it's a German chain, similar to ALDI and Trader Joe's.
ViciDraco · 36-40, M
@helenS ah, I'm familiar with Aldi's. Heard of trader Joe's by reputation but never been in one
helenS · 36-40, F
@ViciDraco Aldi in Europe sells stuff with a Trader Joe's label on it. So it's really one company.

It’s pronounced like needle, but with an L. So I think our president is saying it correctly.
SW-User
He's probably not the only one.

Personally, i never heard of it
ArtieKat · M
I always thought it was called Lardy.... or do I mean Ladle?
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
How can you tell the difference when he’s speaking it? 🤔
Shit. I don't even know that. Never heard of it tbh
Jm31xxx · 41-45, M
Do you have a vid for this?
MissTaken · 36-40, F
@Jm31xxx nope but you can always google Lidl
BlueRain · F
Who cares?? Does it mater?
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
He doesn’t even know what a hyphen is
SW-User
But that's where poor people shop .how could you expect him to know that? 🥺 poor whitey
ArishMell · 70-79, M
@SW-User HE might think that, as he gains planning permission for yet another wretched golf-course in Scotland...

You and I know it is by no means only the poor who shop in Lidl's and Aldi's!
