@Josephinebakker We share near to 98,4% with Bonobos, a bit less with other Chimps, as much as to 97% with other Apes (we are Apes).
Also over 85% with some other mammals (we are mammals)
And even near 60% with...bananas! (ladies, don´t get SO enthusiasted about it 😁)
It´s called Evolution.
Scientists also say that our Ex´es are human.
That scares a bit.

Since we don't have any aliens or alien DNA with which to compare our own DNA, I would be skeptical. We don't know if aliens exist, and if they do, we don't know if they have double helix DNA like ours.
However, geneticists claim to have found coded mathematical messages inside our own DNA...and that is very interesting, when I think of the pseudo-history published in 1976 by Zechariah Sitchin, called The Twelfth Planet.
