It is astounding to me how nobody wants to take responsibility for their own problems. How exactly is it the Western Worlds fault that two technically advanced neighboring Asian nations, who have been independent for 70 years, can't find a peaceful solution to their problems with each other?
Are you suggesting that those nations are incapable and must depend on the west to solve their problems?

A lesson in insanity! Both have nukes and I think that will settle things down for a while.....again.

@SW-User they cannot bomb one without it affecting themselves
SW-User
@InOtterWords True but I don't think that they see it that way.

When they was war between India and Pakistan 1971, the entire Christian West supported Islamic Pakistan.
The western media's also constantly reports negative things about India in their medias to portray Hindus as savages .
They never report about countless Hindu girls that were being kidnapped,raped and force to convert to Islam in Pakistan since partition.This is still going on in Pakistan.

How ever , their negative opinion about India and Hindus are slowly changing since Muslims have started to migrate to western countries and have started to rape white people.
To answer your question, I don't think Christian western countries will support Hindu majority India.Majority of them still love Islam and hate Hindus .

@LoneKnight You are missing the point...in '71 India was flirting with and allies with the Soviet Union....during the height of the cold war and the hot war in Viet Nam. It had nothing to do with religion and everything to do with "the enemy of my enemy". You really didn't expect the West to ally themselves with the ally of the Soviet Union did you? If you want "Christian" help you don't ally yourself with a godless communist dictatorship.
The Christian world doesn't hate Hindu's.....we don't understand them and don't care one way or another unless you pose a threat. I for one have never found Hindu's threatening. I can't say the same for Islam.

How is it Western World's fault?
Melpomene · 26-30, F
@SW-User It's been 72 years... one would think they'd find a compromise
SW-User
@Melpomene yes you do and i agree they are far more responsible but knowing historical backgrounds is important, and there are places in the planet where there is a lot more responsibilty to another party
MasterofNone · 26-30, M
To let you guys know the facts that Britain did the execution part because they were in power but it was actually demanded by The Muslim League that there be a separate Muslim dominant country. It wasn't that the people were killing each other off and Britain decided to save them.
midnightsun · 26-30, M
Pakistan and India will not actually go into a full scale war.
SW-User
@midnightsun sure hope not
SW-User
Everything is the western world's fault apparently.

Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
How about they find peace or we destroy them both
Jackaloftheazuresand · 26-30, M
@SW-User nobody if we played it right
SW-User
@Jackaloftheazuresand I don't think it's right for us to think we are above other nations and can control and invade or bomb them ._.
Even if they are at war with another nation

@SW-User I think of it this way, unless they've got oil the only way the US would get involved is if one of them asks for it. If they ask for us to intervene then they will accept our solution.

Seeing they are both part of the Commonwealth I suppose it may be Britain's problem
SW-User
really killing over a billion people is the answer?
Gingerbreadspice · F
It’s a bit like the pot and the kettle having an argument.
Pawan · 31-35, M
In this time India decide it's own faith no other countries needs to engage in that, India will do the needful
SW-User
@Pawan it seems to me and maybe the news is just very biased here, that there is differentiation between muslim and hindu
Pawan · 31-35, M
@SW-User you can differentiate in any numbers of forms there, am not answerable to your news channels, as I have said before when Indian are taken in account there is no differentiations here.
SW-User
@Pawan ok
InOtterWords · F
Why would they attack india?
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@InOtterWords The Muslin versus Hindu fighting has been going on for centuries, but came to a head with Partition in 1947(?) Untold people died as the subcontinent was torn apart -- and they still hate each other.
InOtterWords · F
@ChipmunkErnie I know that, I also am aware that there are muslims in india that choose to live there happily. What I am asking is why attack now, what has prompted this current threat
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@InOtterWords Seem to be the ongoing fight over Kashmir, which Pakistan and India have been fighting over for decades. Don't know much about it except the tensions seem to rise and fall in cycles.
