If Pakistan attacks India, will the US join in to aid India?

It is astounding to me how nobody wants to take responsibility for their own problems. How exactly is it the Western Worlds fault that two technically advanced neighboring Asian nations, who have been independent for 70 years, can't find a peaceful solution to their problems with each other?
Are you suggesting that those nations are incapable and must depend on the west to solve their problems?
