What is something you are certain you'll never experience?

What just isn’t in the cards? Are you actively avoiding those things? If so, why?

Marriage. And no, I'm not actively avoiding that. At least not on purpose. I have some difficulty imagining how anyone could ever want me enough to the extent where they'd want to marry me. It feels like a pipe dream whenever I allow myself to think about that too much. I mean, I know that statistically speaking it is almost certain I will get married someday but I have a long history of beating the odds, especially when it comes to odds I don't want to beat.

Seeing my novel in Barnes and Noble, on the #1 Best Seller shelf. 😔

But maybe, just maybe... the Top 10.👍😜😎

@Montanaman Are you a novelist?
Montanaman · M
@TheOrionbeltseeker yes, but it's getting published that is my dream. Then I can say that I'm an Author.😁☺️😎

Having a baby through natural birth. No more kids for me and last one was emergency csection. But I'm ok with. I got cut in half horizontally not by squeezing a watermelon out.

Walking on another planet, or even on the moon. Or going into space for that matter.
suchaslife · F
@SW-User Really? You don't want to?
SW-User
@suchaslife It's not that I don't want to. It's just going to be prohibitively expensive for decades, if not centuries to come.
suchaslife · F
@SW-User True. I would loooove to

I will never be experiencing sitting on the other side of the window of the bank.

But nothing is certain, if I don't get anything, maybe I will have to.

Being a banker would be a bad thing for me. I don't like counting money of others.

Though I'm not avoiding it, I feel fairly certain that physical intimacy with Salma Hayek is something I will never experience.

Not getting nagged
suchaslife · F
@Ferric67 that's a good thing right? Or no?
Ferric67 · M
Getting nagged is like trying to run a marathon with sand in your sneakers, I don't think anybody likes getting nagged@suchaslife
suchaslife · F
@Ferric67 True lol

Standing on a stage, performing a longer, self-made piece of music, in a successful way (as in actually sounding good).

While I have visions of what I want I lack the technical skills to put it on paper and make it cohesive. I absolutely do not have a singing voice, and I doubt that even with training it could be improved enough. It would cost a ton of money I don't have, and have little chance of earning. A support network who shares the vision would also be required.

There are just too many loose threads hanging too far up.

@suchaslife He is good, no doubt about that. Used to be my favorite too, but I have to admit I liked him better before around 2004-2005. At least I think that was the time he started moving towards more "radioable" music. Haven't properly kept up with his stuff for over a decade now.
suchaslife · F
@PirateMonkeyCabinet He still alright but yeah he was really good then. He has competition now
PirateMonkeyCabinet · 36-40, M
@suchaslife Aye. There were other big names back then, but he was the go-to guy who always delivered.

Giving Mila Kunis a foot massage. Even though I'm not actively avoiding this to happen.
