Do you think Star Trek should do more for LGBTQ+ issues?

Years ago, Star Trek was the first to broadcast a kiss between a white guy and a black women. That was good. But the show never shows gay or gender fluid people. That is bad.

You've obviously not watched Star Trek Discovery, which, although bloody awful, has a gay couple (the chief engineer and the chief medical officer) serving aboard the starship.

@SassySarah Well, it's doesn't so much these days I'm afraid. They've become overly interested in promoting social issues rather than telling a good story, and the viewership has reduced because of it.
