You have an accent?

My mother is from Slovenia, dad is American. I have almost no accent, to speak of. At least not a strong one. You?

I have a slight American southern accent

Everyone has an accent depending on where they are from or live...like my wife and I have a light southern accent, and we don't notice it all (nor do most people around us) but people from other states and regions do notice it.

I have a California accent. It may seem like there's no such thing, but it's there. You can especially hear it when I say the "oo" sound in words like "fruit", "food", etc. It sounds different from Standard American.

My mom is from France and has a French accent but that didn't rub off on me.

my accent is all over the place lol, I've some how combined different accents into one, so I might sound one way with some words and another times I sound different with other words lol
Everyone has an accent. You may not be able to name it, but there is no such thing as speaking without one.

A typical American accent. 🙄 But I can imitate an Italian accent real well from hearing my dad's all my life.

@SteveAt24 sort of?

In the context of just the United States. There is a midwestern nondescript accent.@marmar

True. But there is such a thing as a midwestern, “generic” accent. @SW-User
