I want to pierce my belly button..how bad does it hurt?

@MrBlueGuy I felt it a little bit when the needle first touched the skin, before it even broke the skin. Kinda felt like when you touch the tip of a sharp knife with your finger without cutting yourself. Once it actually broke the skin, and was going through, I actually didn't feel it at all. It's a bit sore right now, but nothing bad

@SarahAndSamantha Hahaha. Keep me posted!! I have a condition that seems to not like tattoos sometimes, and I also have a prosthetic hip, so... I guess I'll stick with piercings. xD

@JustGoneNow fair enough. I think i'm more scared of the days following than the actual piercing. I tend to bump my belly against things a lot

@SarahAndSamantha It was sore but not terribly so. I’ve a pretty flat stomach so that probably helps.

@SarahAndSamantha I have a few piercings and tattoos some more painful than others but belly button was the one that actually made me scream

@SophieC I've only pierced my ears, and that was nothing. I barely even realized when it happened. but belly button seems much more sensitive

@SarahAndSamantha Ears are pain free but I did get one in in the cartilage and that was painful. If you really want your belly button done then go for it but do be prepared. i guess it is down to your pain threshold.
