What makes you feel confident?

asking this question for the 34th time thinking that it'll give me some sort of insight instead of it just being "nothing im ugly lol" over and over again

I've posted this too many times....the only thing good about getting older is confidence. I have lived a life! Unless I'm next to "the world's most interesting man" (or woman)...no one makes me feel "less".
Your young, you have to walk the line of not being an a-hole and not being perceived as weak right? Know who you are! That's the key. Own who you are! Dress well, stand up straight, don't get drunk and ramble, don't say "ya know" or "like" or "WHAT???" Just a few tips!

I've failed at so many things in my life that as it gets closer to the end the few things I can do well tend to shine out like a beacon amongst the darker stuff I'd rather not spend any more time thinking about. I can guarantee the same sort of light will be within you too but until you've found it and recognised it for what it is then yep, seeing it can be tricky.

I don't know you from Adam, but even just a brief look at your profiles and recent posting habits suggests to me that you're quiet and somewhat reserved (i.e. not brash and cocky), that you care deeply, and that you perhaps over-emphasise the importance of other people's opinions of you when maybe you'd be better off forming a brand new opinion of yourself and sticking to it.

One thing I have learned to trust about me is my judgement of another person's worth. And I'd say that although you struggle with it you really could do with re-evaluating your self-worth because I like you, and with 170 people on my block list here there's obviously not very many here I can say that about.

When my kids are happy and do well and succeed and are praised by people in school or by others for being great well rounded kids.. I had something to do with all of that so I feel confident

When I'm using my brain, I feel it works quite well and even though I can be a bit crazy I am not too bad with knowing stuff

When I put my mind to doing something, I get it done..

When I succeed at a goal no matter how ridiculous it may be

When I make people laugh! I'm good at that

For me, having a group of friends to talk to. Without them, Id get lonely and my confidence would suffer.

Alone time. Listening to girl rap. Material comforts
Love riding my bike :) moving my body makes me feel good and I like to go fast and do mini jumps lol. Otherwise like solving problems and feeling clean and having nice clothes to wear that I like make me feel good too. And just not comparing myself to others...

Most people are wrapped up in their own little worlds of confusion and insecurities, they don't notice that anyone else is feeling messed up in the head.

Knowledge. When I have spent time on learning about something. I’ve done extended research to understand what’s true & what’s opinion. Why something is that way & how etc. I feel confident in my thoughts & then my words & actions.
Quizzical · 46-50, M
@Mrsbetweenfatandfit Oddlt, as I get older I realise that I know far less than I thought I did.

There more you learn, the more you realise there is TO learn
Mrsbetweenfatandfit · 31-35, F
Which is why I love knowledge it’s simpler than ever to access so many sources on different subjects. I absolutely love learning 😄@Quizzical
