Do u think its wrong to call a woman a 'whore' ?

A male is a whoremonger. Now is the word whore too harsh or stereotypical. Is it a sexist word. But what if the person really is just that, a whore. You tell me.
Im listening. 🙂

Very offensive.

@SW-User 🙂
Sunnykel76 · 46-50, F
I think its wrong to be disrespectful regardless of your opinion.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Sunnykel76 But someone said what if the person is being paid to have sex. Is it still wrong to use that word to describe that person. And even if its a man. I think that is a fair question. 🙂

@fallenite What makes the actual word whore wrong if its a word that has a legit meaning. 🤔

Zonuss · 46-50, M
@fallenite But that in itself is a generalization of the user of the word. I myself do not use it just so you will know. 🙂
TrashCat · M
No more wrong than calling a man a politician
In general, it's absolutely wrong. In the bedroom, if the woman is turned on by it (some are...many aren't) then by all means.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@FigNewton I wasn't talking about in general. Captain Crunch. 🙂
@Zonuss If they are in fact aware of being a whore, then perhaps they wouldn't mind being called as such. I'm not sure if there are any alternate words that would seem less harsh.

Still the best cereal.
SW-User
I don't think that women or men should be called whores for being sexually promiscuous. The meaning itself is just supposed to be a derogatory term for a prostitute, and that isn't cool either. It's like, just be respectful to people. I get it if it's used as a joke or as a sex thing, but if you're just using it to try to insult or describe someone's behaviour when you think it's wrong, just stop.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@comfy Again, that is extreme. It shows you have no capacity to think logically. Because if you did you would be more tolerant of others views. 🙂

@DailyFlash Interesting.
TexChik · F
I would react very strongly and very negatively towards the person who uses that term in reference to me! 😡
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@TexChik What if the person doesn't deserve to be respected. 🙂
TexChik · F
@TexChik okay. I disagree but respect your opinion.
Dainbramadge · 56-60, M
Only as vulgar, nasty pillow talk.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
@SW-User I understand!! 😁
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
@AlienZipper Perhaps I have other things to do that capture my interest more?!
AlienZipper · 61-69, M
@CoffeeFirst

Well, of course...but in case you had time....
M1keW · 26-30, M
If you're just calling her that because she likes having a lot of sex, with a number of different people, then yes. I'd say it's uncalled for. You may not agree with how she's living her life, but unless her actions are affecting you personally, it's none of your business.

That said, we all know someone that has truly earned that label, and it may, or may not have anything to do with their promiscuity. 😂😇
whateverhappens · 26-30, F
Not if she's acting like it
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@whateverhappens If only people were less about pc and more about logic they would not be so offended by things. 🙂
For general purposes it's a pretty ugly and derogatory word. But...if you know for a fact that the woman is a prostitute and accepts money for sexual favors then it's an acceptable description.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Pinkstarburst Hmmmmmmm. 🙂
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
It's definitely wrong and offensive if she isn't one
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@GJOFJ3 No kidding. That was not the point of the post. 🤔

DailyFlash · 56-60, M
@RippinKlouds Actually the dictionary definition is a Prostitute.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@RippinKlouds Cool. A compliment. 🙂
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
Yes, just refer to them as sex workers
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
@Zonuss whore has mostly been used a a derogatory term.
There are both male and female prostitutes, whore is exclusively female
Sex workers is all inclusive
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@GJOFJ3 So this is just pc stuff. That is what it sounds like to me. 🤔
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
@Zonuss no law or PC rule from preventing you from being as course as you want
polyandrym66 · 70-79, M
If you've been giving her money for sex, then the label fits. Otherwise NO..
Karmalives · 56-60, M
DISRESPECTFUL
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@Karmalives Explain. 🙂
Karmalives · 56-60, M
@Zonuss I prefer to label these individuals as "morally challenged" 😉
SW-User
Yes it's wrong. If they are paid for sex than you can still call them a prostitute without having to use a derogatory term.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User What makes that word derogatory.
SW-User
@Zonuss What makes any word derogatory? The society that it resides in.
SW-User
I'd chase you with a chainsaw probably yeah....🤐
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User I have a gun. 🙂
SW-User
@Zonuss doesn't scare me in the least 😂 it'll still end up....badly 😁
SW-User
I mean... a hoe's a hoe. Doesn't matter if it's a man or a woman.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User But not everyone sees it that way.
SW-User
@Zonuss True. A whore is just a hoe who gets paid though. So in a way it's a good thing? I mean I can understand why it's seen as an insult. I guess it's 50/50.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User But this post was not talking about anything informal. 🙂
meh people use it all the time. just like the term fuckboy. it doesnt carry any weight.
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
@winchesterbros That's a stretch.
@CoffeeFirst or really would you like to enlighten me
CoffeeFirst · 56-60, F
SW-User
Yes, I think whores should be called whores. I don't have a problem with it. People should be shamed for bad behavior.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@SW-User Deep. 🙂
if she's a woman, she's not a whore.
Zonuss · 46-50, M
@saragoodtimes Explain. 🤔
@Zonuss the term woman exudes class and refinement so she can't be a common whore
SW-User
Well, the word 'whore' is a kinda strong and somewhat unpolite way of calling. 'Hooker' or 'prostitute' is much better. But I would call a hooker 'a whore' if their attitude and behavior is like shit.
Lonelymanik · 36-40, M
If that word is used as a foul language to insult or scold it’s wrong but as a fact a whore is a whore men and women as well. No whores deny it being called like that
Prostitute aka whore!
