@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I am glad to see that imbecile is polling at less than three percent. It makes me smile.

I seem to remember talk of teenagers in the sixties being damned for the permissive society, drug-taking, and wanting "peace". Perhaps it's true that all older generations criticise those which replace them. The first really enlightened older generation will be one that breaks the cycle and remembers what it was like for them.
Alas, not today it seems.

@uniglow The current generation shows NO ambition whatsoever to learn, grow up, or change. They appear to be "stunted", mostly due to the way they were coddled.
uniglow · 36-40, M
@DraytonSawyer I think that's quite a generalisation. Are you talking about specific people in your own country, or the entire male population of the world aged 30.
DraytonSawyer · M
@uniglow It's not just males. Young people of today have an entitled attitude. They want everything for free, and don't feel they should earn it. That's why the embrace socialism, which as far as I am concerned, is the enemy of freedom.
IWasCallingYaLarry · 26-30, M
Because they don't wanna work hard towards a better future for themselves and want all the work done for them. Lazy entitled pricks a lot of these people are. This is what happens when parents don't parent their kids right.

@IWasCallingYaLarry More truth.

@Sunshine04 Hell, most people under the age of 35 have issues as far as I am concerned.

My generation was nothing but lazy slackers. We played too many video games and watched music videos all day, etc., etc., etc. This criticism came from the generation of dirty hippies who grew their hair out too long, just cruised around aimlessly, etc., etc., etc.
This is pretty much the cycle. Older generations label the younger generation as lazy. In 20 years, millennials will have all the same complaints about their children’s generation. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.

hey keep beards out of this
DraytonSawyer · M
@PlumBerries Because I hate the latest trends. And most men who feel the need to wear an obnoxious beard, are trying to make up for their insecure attitudes towards their own "manliness". In other words, they are weak, and are trying to cover it up. Pathetic.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
its not a trend lol.. beards were around way way before you and i were even born. how is that a trend?
maybe you cant grow a beard and just have extreme jealousy towards those who can

DraytonSawyer · M
@PlumBerries I can, unfortunately, grow a beard just fine. I don't need nor want one. I am secure in myself.

You raised us....
DraytonSawyer · M
@NicoleA No, I didn't. I am not old enough to be your parent.
