I'm not a big dog fan but I must just say that the most likeable dogs I've ever met were Labradors. They're gentle characters and most importantly of all...they don't hate cats.
@Crazychick I worked with a blind guy who had a labrador guide dog. That was the most special dog I ever met in my life. It impressed me no end. I suppose training helped but it was still a unique dog.
