And there was a Foreman Scotty Show in Oklahoma City that featured puppets and other things and they always had a grade school class that came to visit in their audience. One kid was snickering one time on the show and Foreman Scotty asked him why and he said “Herman farted”... everyone my age remembered that line for a good decade...if we wanted to make someone laugh we’d say “Herman farted”.

@Tminus6453 Foreman Scotty asked a boy his name & if he wanted to wave to his parents. He said his father was in the military in Vietnam and then he remarked “Your mother and you must be lonely since he’s gone” and the boy quipped “No Uncle _____ comes and stays with mama”....that about hit the censor fan back then.
