Are you good?

I try not to be a hypocrite, but I have also tried to overcome my own selfish nature as often as possible, (mostly in the past).

I've devoted a portion of my life to working with recovering drug addicts, and I worked with the homeless and with the elderly suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's and brain cancer.

For a while I tried to be "good" in the ways that my former church considered to be good, but I really had to struggle to fit myself into that mold. In the end, I decided I have to be just me. I do nice things when I can, and I don't expect myself to be perfect.

Depends on your definition of good. 🤔
