It makes no difference what you believe, he will never show up to prove his existence, and of course if he didn't exist, he would also never show up. He is about as useful as a milkshake spread across desert sand.
I believe God exists just not necessarily church's projection of God. Organized religion tends to manipulate and create their own beliefs stemming around God, I think
I don’t know. I feel humans like the idea of having a genie grant their desires but I feel like that isn’t genuine love. It is just devotion done out of convenience of getting heaven and escaping hell. Real love is going after someone even if you weren’t scared of a painful consequence and weren’t guaranteed a reward for doing so.
No opinion,belief,faith..just existing itself says that we are inside the God or god is everywhere...this cannot be accepted by debate but by individual experience.
@Tracos there is probably more truth to that than you realize. For example, those who believe they are lucky seem to be lucky; those who believe they are unlucky seem to be unlucky. Or as Jesus said, "According to your faith, be it unto you."
