Does anyone remember the great Satanic Panic of the 80s?

It was "whipped up" by the news media, evangelical churches and politicians.

Looks like we might be going through the same thing now with a "NAZI Panic" or a "phobe", "ism" and "ist" panic.

Can history be repeating itself?

In the 80's my mom thought i would play my copy of Led Zeppelin's stairway to heaven backwards and be subject to all kinds of satanic messages so much so that i had to destroy the first copy i had bought. I have no idea how i was supposed to play a vinyl record backwards back then. But yes there was a satanic panic at her church apparently.

@SW-User I didn't know they were making lists. People or groups who do that are very dangerous.
But I'm referring to what's been happening in the last decade or so.
