If I would tell you what I think of Mrs. May´s speech it could be insulting - that´s why I better keep quiet! 😅🙊

@Nimbus My absolutely own, personally opinion is this:
I think the EU is a good thing and I truly wished that you British would stay. You are officially a good nation and I also like you British very much.

But when it´s your truly wish to leave the EU you should leave. But without the circus what is going on in your country/May etc. (Brexit yes, Brexit no, Brexit now, Brexit later…). I also think that the British must carry out the Brexit with all consequences - even when they are bad for them.

I personally think that the Brexit will have mostly bad consequences - für BOTH sides (Great Britain AND EU). Another reason why I would prefer your country wouldn´t leave the EU.

I am aware that you might have a little bit another view of leaving the EU.

I´ve just stated my own, personally opinion here because I felt to do it. I hope you don´t mind. :-)

@Loretta78 I agree with you again! :)

I voted to stay but I will go with the 'exit' crowd if it means complete exit!

@Nimbus 👍️

Much more significant is Donald Tusk’s statement which, if taken at face value, seems to mean that we will leave on 29 March without a deal unless May’s deal has been approved before then.
Nimbus · M
@MartinII Yes, he conveniently omitted what would happen if it is rejected.
Bercow could help here by refusing to have the meaningful vote taken next week.
MartinII · 70-79, M
@Nimbus Bercow seems to have painted himself into a corner, which is very entertaining.
Nimbus · M
@MartinII He seems to have enough character to fight his way out.

"We're still fighting for this Brexit. I've got to go to Brussels and get something."

whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
@Nimbus And I think the whole battle is irrelevant, since the smart money always wanted the profit and control a no Deal Brexit will bring by default when every other course fails. Thats how its been set up.
Nimbus · M
@whowasthatmaskedman That's possible.
There is a feeling that all of this was manipulation and out of our control.
whowasthatmaskedman · 70-79, M
Thats absolutely correct. The smart money went straight to a No Deal outcome because that is where the opportunity for profit was greatest and then all that had to happen was for a No Deal outcome to become the default position, which it later did. After that, its all window dressing.
I am not a classic conspiracy person, with secret governments and Illuminati. I do however know that money goes looking for opportunities to make more. And Chaos and a chance to rewrite the rule book is the classic double header.
