During the 2016 election, Hillary Clinton was the largest recipient of campaign donations from the private prison industry. Marko Rubio was the second largest.
What do you think of prisoners for profit and politicians who are in bed with them?

It is a scandal no one will address.
So many corrupt Corporate bodies have a stake in the running of, and profiting from prisons.
How often do the Corporate pigs who commit crimes get imprisoned? Almost never. They are allowed to steal from the public with impunity whilst at the same time profit from the lower classes being imprisoned for minor crimes.
Why does the US population allow this fraud to go on?
Every level of Government, every Political party condones this fraudulent behaviour through their inaction

@Gusman It's because private prison companies like Wakenhut (sp) bought them off. The pay big bucks to keep the drug war going.

@SW-User It mainly the cannabis trade here in the US. That's because marijuana is 70% of "the war on drugs".
