Perhaps, but ending slavery was still messy in America and even after that people still treated African Americans as inferiors with unequal rights and just blatant racism for around another century. When your own government discriminates against you with laws and regulations, I can kinda see why they'd be mad about it.

You have Forrest Gump iq levels to come to that conclusion. So just because the middle passage was a slave transaction between Africa, the Caribbean, and America, automatically obsolves the atrocities of rape, torture, murder, etc committed towards African Americans? Was lynching, segregation, and institutional racism in the 1960s the fault of African slave traders from the 1600s too?

I'm pretty sure it is fair game to be mad at both groups. If there wasn't anyone buying slaves there wouldn't be anyone selling slaves.

@NoSugarCoating there's no truth in your claim especially when you say slavery is a choice. It's online so I don't care.
