Because some of us have busted our asses trying to find a way to change our situations but nothing is working. We are in tough situations and dont have anyone. Dont judge, or else one day you might be in this exact predicament.

@DearAmbellina2113 All I hear are justifications and excuses.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Wifebeater obviously you've never been in a situation where you had little to no control over your own situation. Be grateful for that and try go remember that your experiences are not universal.

@DearAmbellina2113 Please answer the question instead of virtue signalling. If it does not apply to you, don't answer.

@DearAmbellina2113 Skills? Anything you can use to get on Fiverrr or UpWork?
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Wifebeater No real marketable skills, except Im good with paperwork/organization. I have a chronic illness but the government doesnt think I'm "sick enough" for disability. That's how I ended up broke- medical bills and too sick to stay at my job. I spent 7 years bedridden and in and out of specialists offices and went broke in the process. Then I finally found a job that was light-duty enough for me with all my health issues, only to be laid off from downsizing. Now I'm stuck in a podunk town with no options.

@DearAmbellina2113 I suggest you go on those sites I mentioned and find something you can do as a freelancer from your home. You don't need marketable skills as one did five years ago. You're good with organisation? You can be a virtual assistant. It's a step. Try it out.

@Wifebeater I've explored several online job positions and ways to make money online, but the one thing they all require is a strong internet connection, and I dont even have that. It's hard out here when you are stuck in a shitty place and have nothing to offer whatasoever.

@DearAmbellina2113 your not on Medicaid? it would cover all your medical bills and you cant be charged for medical care when your on Medicaid. it covers your meds too. 😺
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@trackboy They won't cover me because I have no children and am not 65 or older or under 21. There are requirements that have to be met in order to receive help, and I dont meet them.
trackboy · 26-30, M
@DearAmbellina2113 @DearAmbellina2113 Medicaid covers all ages up to 65. then medicare takes over. just have to have income of 15,000 a year or less. 😺
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@trackboy I get denied when I apply for it. 🤷🏻‍♀️
trackboy · 26-30, M
@DearAmbellina2113 @DearAmbellina2113 ask them why your being denied. here your edible if single and income is 15 grand or lower. higher if your married. look for a Medicaid advocate. usally a community health care place will have one. they provide care on a sliding scale depending on how much you make. if the advocate finds they been illegally denying you coverage then they can go after the state for violating the law and require the state to cover your back bills. 😺
