And yes I mean an automobile... Who taught you?

Yes, it's not a big thing to do that over here.

I'm in England where most cars are manual so that's what most people learn to drive in.
JavaJoe · 51-55, M
No I can’t. Not that I couldn’t if I had to, just never learned 💁🏻‍♂️

Yes, my parents but mostly my first boyfriend on his car. My dad got me a 11 yr old 5 speed pickup as my 1st vehicle. Tough love when I had to get to work and no one was home - I figured it out.

I plan to do the same for my daughter. An old little two seater 5 speed truck is the perfect first car.

Yes...my dad taught me in his truck. I have owned several, I have one right now but it will be my last one. My left foot and ankle are getting bad so it's getting harder to maneuver the clutch, plus I am just getting tired of shifting all the time.

Grew up on a farm driving the old 67 gmc 4speed pickup out to the field. Started when i was 9. Every car i owned was a manual. through my teens and twenties.

Yes. I bought a MT car without knowing how to drive one.

My friend graciously lent me his car for the night and a different friend spent an hour with me.
Yes I can, my uncle taught me because that’s the only vehicle I had to learn driving in 😂
