Should I be worried about losing my hair?

My hair has been receding since I was 19. I never tried to cover it up, and was never tempted to do the Trump thing.

And frankly, it never particularly bothered me. I've got a lot (a lot) of other insecurities, including physical ones, but that one never bothered me.

And yet, a lot of people point it out. Children, my parents, colleagues all seem to remark upon it in subtle and not so subtle ways. I'm not sure why.

And it puts a man at a disadvantage with women: it signals a loss of virility, although I feel as virile as ever.

It's funny... it is the one thing I'm not self-conscious about... and the world is pretty aggressive at signaling to me that I really should be.

And I don't want to be. But I'm also not up to fighting the world, at least not on this battlefield.

Just shave it off. You don’t need people in your life who think less of you because you are bald. Let them deal with each other instead.
