How has your life changed the world so far?

Everyone changes the world in some way. How will you change the world in the future?

I was involved in the Human Genome project. I suspect the end results would have been no different if I hadn't contributed because my part was so small, but I guess I can still claim to be part of something that will impact on medicine for generations.
@GlassDog wow!

@CinnamonWorlds Sounds grander than it is, and I was only one of many thousands of cogs in the bigger machine. My part had to do with barcodes and identifying samples quickly - that's how low-level it was!
Some of my political activism has made a small contribution to some good changes and some of my teaching has made a difference for people. Though unlike the plot of "It's A Wonderful Life" things probably would have been fine if I weren't there, too!

That is a hard questions to answer. It is difficult to look at ones life and find the positive things that we try to do that really make an impact on the world or even a small part of it. The only thing that I can think of that may have some impact is I always try to treat people in a way to make them feel good. I try to smile at people as I pass and many times they will smile back. I try to give words of encouragement when I feel someone really needs to hear them. Has anything I have done made a positive impact on the world I don't know but hope it has.

If anything, it's rather my intention to preserve a tiny part of this beautiful workd.

I am not sure "change" is the right term, since my major goal is to convince people of the dangers of climate change, and the need to try to prevent further harm, and perhaps roll back the effects we already are experiencing.

Not in a way I can discuss...
