If you knew then what you know now, what would be different?

Ready2LLL · 46-50, F Best Comment
Not a thing would be different.. all my heartache has only made me stronger
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Ready2LLL ♥️
Ready2LLL · 46-50, F
@wasityou thank you for best answer
rfhh1959 · 61-69, M
@Ready2LLL I agree because if you remove or add something you are not who you are today.

samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
Probably nothing, I sometimes don't learn from my errors. But, I would change a few things both educationally and in my hobbies. I certainly would have kept up better with my music.
Pudhumanithan · 70-79, M
Nothing! All through my life I was moderate, and meticulous. No Greed. No day dreaming. Nothing!
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Pudhumanithan Don't you regret not daydreaming?
Not sure exactly.
But something would be, it would have to, or what would be the point of having that knowledge.
Pudhumanithan · 70-79, M
Nothing. Because greed had never been a factor in my approach to life.
SW-User
Everything. I would be a whole different person.
Immenselydist · 31-35, M
What is this a trap to confusing people 🧐
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
Certainly, some quite important things would be different.
Not still sure on how. There are, in some cases, strong related contradictions.
In fact and for the last days I am doing a reflection in the form of imagined dialogs with my younger self, since I was 17 years old and at different ages along my life.
A quite emotional moving and strange experience.
With more clarity, if ever reached, I will perhaps make a some posts about.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@CharlieZ Good luck on accomplishing those posts. I have occasionally intended to organize more of my thoughts into posts but rarely complete such tasks, lol. I'm sure that I, and others, would appreciate you sharing your insights.
CharlieZ · 70-79, M
@wasityou Thank you!

I grew up thinking sex before marriage was sinful (.....Irish catholic’s guilt!). I no longer think that and just wish those university romances could have been taken to their natural and beautiful conclusion lol!
wasityou · 46-50, F
@SW-User Lol, but you might have preferred to wait depending how that would've worked out.
SW-User
@wasityou Possibly lol!
Killroy59 · 61-69, M
@SW-User the Guilt of it all ,,,,,, humbug
SW-User
I'd have more savings in the bank... and a better start to my career. And I would have married my wife earlier.
I’d have had way more sex
wasityou · 46-50, F
@BiasForAction it may have been for the best 🤷‍♀️
Shut your mouth @wasityou
wasityou · 46-50, F
@BiasForAction 😂... I'm lousy at compassion, but I tried!
SW-User
I would have been nicer to people because I’d have understood where they were coming from.
I’d have stayed with the Air Force.
I’d have been more careful with my health.
I’d have stayed away from alcohol.
SW-User
@wasityou You didn’t. I think about my bigger mistakes all the time. I was just answering the question.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@SW-User I know what that is like... a little. 🤗 I hope the best for you.
SW-User
@wasityou Thanks. Have a great new year.
Dez580 · 61-69, M
now this question has resonance after lockdowns and life changing completely. It does make one feel that we didnt make th emost of life before Covid. Still with everyone wearing masks in public, very unlikely to catch colds and flu , miss seeing lasses smile in public though
SW-User
Well... yeah. I mean... that's the process of learning.

Although, there is truth to Ready2LLL's comment - one grows and learns through mistakes... and thus you don't want to lose them.
Withintent · M
Stay away from the brunette at the Disco.
Withintent · M
@wasityou Jane?
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Withintent 😂 do you really want to know?
Withintent · M
@wasityou 😮
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
It wouldn't have taken me until age 26 to lose my virginity.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@dancingtongue Lol... sorry, you're probably not alone on that.
dancingtongue · 80-89, M
@wasityou It's OK; I laugh about it too. It was a comic opera.

@JAYS21 Lol, I was thinking Toby Keith.
Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
I can't imagine there being 3-4 fewer awesome kids in this world, so likely nothing would be different....
I would be in much better shape. I would have avoided the accidents that left me this way.
wasityou · 46-50, F
@Lostpoet I hope the best for you from here on out.
