their life, their choice.

Cavedweller · 46-50, F
By definition I fall into that category. And it's a perfectly acceptable lifestyle choice, in my opinion.

@Cavedweller YES! I could not volunteer at a shelter because I would want all of them. My girl was diagnosed with renal failure 3 years ago (the vet gave her less than 2 to live but she is still ok)...the vet took my entire life savings and I have to inject her a few times a week with saline solution which is expensive, food and litter is ridiculously expensive unless you buy the toxic, cheap stuff....I really can't imagine how you manage financially...one cat is hard enough...but...the quality of their lives are in our hands so...we do what we must

@Fernie I don't cut corners financially when it comes to food and the vet. The litter I use is perfect, it's the clumping type. The waste basically clumps up and gets scooped up twice a day, both trays. Keeps them clean and happy.

@Cavedweller I don't either. I couldn't live with the guilt of cutting corners. I recently started buying Clump and Slide. The best thing about it is that it is dust free...Arm and Hammer was awful...my entire house was coated. It's a damn science!

i'm kinda like that , i only go out to the store or for Foraging , i don't socialize or have Friends much , had one once he loved my coffee like 4 cups then the next day he asks where i got it from , it was then i knew he was talking with other people that knew me so i said in a dumpster but its fine really , never saw him again , lol
I don't feel any particular way, but I'm reasonably sure they wouldn't care anyway.
Rambler · 61-69, M
I can see advantages to that kind of life.
HannibalMontanimal · 26-30, M
I'm one of them

I resemble that remark
Their business not mine

They smell kinda hermy
It’s their business, really. If they’re happy, that’s fine.
They are skittish.
