@SW-User Wow, this one is really late. 馃槄

The road opened before her as she left the city limits behind her, a trail leaving the complexities of the past year and stretching into a distant, new horizon. It was percect.

A few hours and a new city later, she rolled into a small diner as the sun begins to set. Settling into a booth, she looks over the menu when the small bell on the door jingles. She looks up and sees him. After everything, there he was again. Her heart begins to race, and the sudden swell makes her feel silly. They had agreed to part ways, this was just a coincidence.
A smiling waitress begins to take her order, blocking her viee. She orders the number three and a coffee without even looking at the menue. When the waitress turns to put the order in, she sees him at the counter looking at her. He looks as surprised as she is. There is an urge to go over, to say hi and catch up, but she can't. They all agreed, after the casino heist, they would take a share and go their separate ways. It was safer that way, less chance of getting caught. He raises his coffee to her and leaves.

Back to the road then. No time for old acquaintances, she had a new life to start.
