What do you think of the way Kavanaugh has been handling this hearing so far?

But women are too emotional to be in positions of power! 😅
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
The sexual assault allegations are pretty fucked up but honestly I opposed Kavanaugh before this round of accusations because of his atrocious legal philosophy and rank partisan hypocrisy. So if he gets taken down for personal actions, I won't complain. But I wish more people opposed him for the reasons I do.

@BlueMetalChick I never said this was OK for citizens. I don't believe in extending Constitutional rights to noncitizens.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@HoraceGreenley Alright, so then you're not ok with the Patriot Act, Data Mining Program, or warrantless NSA spying. You'd be ok with them if they only applied to non-citizens, e.g. undocumented immigrants, foreign representatives, tourists, etc.

He has cold, dead eyes and there are so many freaking noises coming out of this guy, sniffin' and coughin' and throat clearing...sobbing.. and gulping down his water into the microphone and the occasional squeak...like a mouse
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@Fernie You've never been through something like this. So how would you know?
I haven't been watching it. But it would be too easy to reply that men who can't control themselves around women REALLY can't be trusted with power. That is why the hearing's happening in the first place.

@bijouxbroussard You really should see it. It's hilarious!
UndeadPrivateer · 31-35, M
@bijouxbroussard He's had an intensely angry look plastered on his face the entire time and had multiple outbursts and a notable meltdown. He seems... not exactly stable. Doesn't 100% mean guilt by any means, but it doesn't look great.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I mean, like a child. I get the emotion duress he's under but this is a job interview and the sexual assault allegations are a test of his character, not his innocence since it's not a court. His character to me is pretty goddamn lacking.

Also I just love to see these greasy prep school frat boys get theirs.

If he's this angry sober, I'd hate to see him drunk. Liar. Like the guy that appointed him.

And men think with their balls....
Pfuzylogic · M
He does have a very loud voice and has interrupted Senators and imposed filibusters to fill up Democrat’s time.
His defense is incredibly weak and he looks like he has a stick up his ass to put it nicely.
MrMaX · 100+, M
@Pfuzylogic He deflects questions and filibusters in a very weak way. He isn't even trying to do it elegantly. He's just melting down all over the place.

@MrMaX
His non verbal communication betrays him badly. That tends to show someone full of shit.

@Overwatch6 Lol have you even read what he said. supreme court judges can check and stop both the actions of the President and Congress.

And actually, neither the President can initiate Armageddon without the Congress consent. They might launch an attack here or there for a limited time but they don't have the power to initiate an Armaceddon by themselves.
FLami · 36-40, M
Plus, I'd say Clinton showed more self restraint than he showed. He was already melting down 20 minutes going into it.. and he answered many questions poorly, causing himself the need to apologise and blaming it on the tough process of the hearing. Man, I can't him lasting 11 hours like she did.

Its been a tough day for Brett.
