Almost fall....Are leaves changing yet in your part of the world

No not yet but probably by the end of the month or first of next month they will. By Halloween they'll mostly be gone (unless we have a fall like we did a year or two ago where it stayed warm up until the first of December).

They are where I am. Northern New England. Some of the trees started changing the second week of August.

Yesterday was almost magical. I saw a single leaf falling from the nearest tree. Not a single other one, unless the winds were strong enough to take it down. This one just...fell. The air was still, it was a boiling summer day. This may have been the first leaf of the coming Autumn. I hope.

In my corner of the world it is Spring with happy birds everywhere.
