Fear and ignorance. It's been that way throughout the history of humans. It's how mythology and religion actually came into being, people coming up with beliefs that helped them cope with, live with, and "explain" things they couldn't understand or comprehend.

@indyjoe That’s BS. But whatever helps you sleep at night.

@Trucker334 That is not BS it happens to be fact...maybe you should pay closer attention to those who study such things. A little education goes a long way.

Okay, can you explain the current religious beliefs of doctors, educators and scientists? Because it would seem to make your statement more liberal propaganda than fact. @indyjoe

@Trucker334 I don't believe in religion nor follow it, but I do believe in God. That has absolutely nothing to do with it. Religions as we know them today have had centuries (thousands of years even) of development and alteration. Adaptations brought about by scientific explanation, exploration and understanding. Religion is a man-made concept and has it's roots in mythology. You went on the attack because your delusion has been threatened by one person's personal belief and opinion. Think about it...a little brain effort goes a long way too.

@indyjoe I’m not on the attack. I’m expressing another point of view. You’re stating things as if they are fact, when they are simply excuses to brush off thousands of years of others experiences.

@Trucker334 "That's BS but whatever helps you sleep at night"...sure as heck sounds like an attack to me. And now you're saying that I made such claims as fact to brush off thousands of years of other experiences? Get real. You read what I did actually say and saw what you wanted to see. I did no such thing, I only stated what I think and believe, and not once do I say or even imply that anyone else's was BS. I believe this "conversation" has come to a close.

Okay. You were being reasonable and polite. 🤔
