What is it about social media that makes teenagers abandon all common sense, reason and logic?

PoetryNEmotion · F Best Comment
They may trust too much. It may be those damn raging hormones. Social media tends to make people expose too much. Is it competition? Is it jealousy? Is it naivete? It is likely those combined and more. I bet many live and learn hard lessons and then they think what was I thinking? There needs to be more education about things involving social media. This includes bullying, pedophilia, sex rings, etc.

@PoetryNEmotion Yep, some lessons only learnt from experience, if you’re clever you learn from others experience, still think the kids aren’t alright.😐

@Tminus6453 Yep, exactly what I was trying to say, she only sent them to two people, but they sent them to everyone.

@NJA82 Its really no different than when were were that age and went out to start trouble with our buddies thinking it was 'funny' or whatever, but it was kept among us..... nowadays its magnified X1000 cause one small prank can spread the entire internet and really mess people up

@Tminus6453 Yeah, and fights were 1-1 not 4 or 5 on 1 and no one had a knife. Luckily I’ve got girls so not so much of a problem for me.

Funny that just talking about this over lunch. I feel that social media isn’t the problem it’s the personality of the person who has the freedom of choice to turn it off yet some literally can’t because their mind won’t allow it. Get some will power and turn it off! Lol

Teenagers? Seems like every age group. Although teenagers are mostly the ones into that stupid "otherkin" shit.

@NJA82 It's this thing where some people thing they're actually animals trapped inside a human body.

It started out harmless, there was this thing on Tumblr where people would compare themselves to various different animals just for fun. But like it does to seemingly everything, the internet turned it into a cluster fuck of people thinking they had "invisible tails" and that they can "M-shift" into wolves and dragons and crazy shit.

I don’t have words...😐

@BlueMetalChick i always wondered if people actually believed it or it was an elaborate troll
Logic and reason aren't usually synonymous with teenagers

@NJA82 I'm blind in one eye because of an explosion but that's from childhood. I was born in Yemen during one of the many stages of the ongoing civil war and a Saudi militiaman threw a homemade grenade that blew up very close to my face and blinded me in one eye.

We used to use a drain pipe to fire a firework into a bin full of fireworks.

Pressure. That’s where teens interact today. There entire social life is made or broken on social media.
SW-User
