Why are people so quick to being butt hurt over nothing?

So every time I have a discussion with someone about something they 'think' I disagree with them on they become defensive. The replies are focused on making me see wrong or mean?. . .

Generally I just wonder why people can't have a civil discussion.

Is it because they don't want to learn or grow as people?

It is because your points are not anything to actually learn from. But, I love how you delete comments(for no reason or real purpose) and then pretend no one wants to listen to you or "learn and grow".

@JaggedLittlePill It was a repeat comment. It was the same comment twice so it didn't need to be there. It happens sometimes to me cuz Idk lag.

Also you don't need to make valid points to have a none butt hurt conversation. Like how you got but hurt when I brought up SJW's but didn't say anything negative about them. You just assumed I did because I was talking about guns.

That's why I made this post. Because people like you don't know how to just talk and not be offended.
