Depends what I am doing and how bad I need the money
MntoNc · 36-40, M
Most people dont have a choice if they're unemployed and get an offer, but what I think would be fair to me based on past wage/salary, between $28-30 an hour would be fair for me.
SW-User
how come ya'll earn so earn so much? I make 14 bucks and I earn fairly well for my age compared to others :S
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@SW-User It helps most people posting are older than you. Not everyone makes more as they get older but most do. I was "living" off of 6.25 an hour or some bullshit when I was college-aged.
SW-User
@CountScrofula Yeah I get that, but most of what people post here is FAR above German average. The highest is 21€... and I'm stupid, I forgot America doesn't have Euros. Never mind me.
shuhak · M
At this point I'd take anything! Although if I make more than $780/mo I lose all health insurance.
MysteryWanting · F
Doing my job now? If I put down what I charge for fees no one would believe me and there would be serious outrage. :P
Harmonium1923 · 51-55, M
@MysteryWanting Yeah, me too.
SweetMae · 70-79, F
I worked for $1.05 years ago. Today, I am worth at least $25 an hour if I like the job.
sighmeupforthat · 46-50, M
the situation i'm in and region.. $120 lesser i'd have to move.
because a good portion of my check goes to insurance and the cost of living here.
(along with medical care for my wife.)
if i move, i'll lose more than my career... i'll lose everything and that includes my wife.
(gold digger jokes? try me for size, i'm not rich and she's got cancer.)

@sighmeupforthat Awwww, it's never easy.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
I make a little over 40 bucks an hour right now. With my wife making what she does, I think I could go as low as 30 bucks before I'd have to sell my house.

@Nimbus Funny that, I got my job without either. It only paid around 25/hour when I got it but was a summer student getting my degree late who just had a knack for the work. So was told 'quit school and come work here'.
Nimbus · M
@CountScrofula Awww, someone is watching over you :)
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Nimbus Haha. Yeah. I was making 11 bucks an hour before I got that job. SUPER lucky.

Depends on the job
Nimbus · M
@SW-User Dat true.
pennynoodles · 56-60, F
That all depends on how much I needed the money. At present, I wouldn't work for much under ten pound an hour but if times were hard and I had to clothe children etc, then I would work for less if it meant employment
Nimbus · M
@pennynoodles Sensible.
celine211 · 22-25, F
The legal minimum amount is about 5 euros give or take
DreamCoCreators · 36-40, M
@celine211 who.. Also need to survive? 😂 this world has some crazy logic sometimes...
DreamCoCreators · 36-40, M
£15 as I am. If id ever earnt more than that, £30. I simply don't know how to produce anything worth more. Or, I don't believe I do...
Nimbus · M
@DreamCoCreators Don't underestimate yourself.
DreamCoCreators · 36-40, M
@Nimbus I don't think I really do... but I genuinely can't think of anything that I can do that is worth more than that to someone... thanks for the kind comment :)
SW-User
Minimum wage if I'm desperate enough again. Where I'm at, that's currently a little over $8/hr. I'd rather not, but I would if I had to.
Nimbus · M
@SW-User It shows willing and it will improve.
popmol · 22-25, M

Salix75 · 46-50, F
depends on the work, but about $50 before taxes
Thevy29 · 41-45, M
The lowest I've worked for was $18 an hour
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
What is the cost of living?
Nimbus · M
@hippyjoe1955 I've no idea.
