Most people dont have a choice if they're unemployed and get an offer, but what I think would be fair to me based on past wage/salary, between $28-30 an hour would be fair for me.

@SW-User It helps most people posting are older than you. Not everyone makes more as they get older but most do. I was "living" off of 6.25 an hour or some bullshit when I was college-aged.

@CountScrofula Yeah I get that, but most of what people post here is FAR above German average. The highest is 21€... and I'm stupid, I forgot America doesn't have Euros. Never mind me.

I worked for $1.05 years ago. Today, I am worth at least $25 an hour if I like the job.

the situation i'm in and region.. $120 lesser i'd have to move.

because a good portion of my check goes to insurance and the cost of living here.

(along with medical care for my wife.)

if i move, i'll lose more than my career... i'll lose everything and that includes my wife.

(gold digger jokes? try me for size, i'm not rich and she's got cancer.)

I make a little over 40 bucks an hour right now. With my wife making what she does, I think I could go as low as 30 bucks before I'd have to sell my house.

@Nimbus Funny that, I got my job without either. It only paid around 25/hour when I got it but was a summer student getting my degree late who just had a knack for the work. So was told 'quit school and come work here'.

That all depends on how much I needed the money. At present, I wouldn't work for much under ten pound an hour but if times were hard and I had to clothe children etc, then I would work for less if it meant employment
