What's an informal term to describe a female which isn't regarded as condescending/sexist?

For example, "chick", " babe", "broad", all seem to have negative connotations. But " dude", "guy" etc seem okay.

What say ye?

@Trevo but still inappropriate. A grown woman is a woman.. not a girl. it infantalizes her and reduces her status to that of a child. same as when call women "baby / babe"
