My parents talked to me again after a few months but wouldn’t come to my house or let my boyfriend come to theirs until I was planning a wedding.

@ProdigalSummer about a month or so. She moved in with her boyfriend too. And I actually had a talk with my parents, who I always had a good relationship with, and pointed out to them how narrow minded they were being.

@Straylight I thought of doing that once. Came so close too, but then decided not to.

@IAmJess Based on my own experiences, I wouldn't recommend it.
