Do you think that what ever causes people to become transgender is the same thing that makes them transrace or transspecies?

two years or so ago john hopkins university announced it was a mental illness to want to change or claim to be another gender and they also claimed to be successful in curing it

i guess it's a brain defect. that's what i've heard.
