Yes. In case of an emergency where the patient doesn't have the ability to talk but can call 911. The immediately have your location through the landline. With a cell phone they have to triangulate your position first, that takes time.

I’m assuming you mean a land line no I no longer have a landline 📞 I’m all cell at this point but my parents still have a landline 📞 and a cell and I know several poeple that have both

@smileylovesgaming yes my sister got my mom a fancy smartphone but my dad stays with the old flip phone pay as you go thing he likes it but my sister and her family gotta all be up on the latest cell phones so there all cells and I believe my brother and his family are all cells

Had a landline up until about 8 months ago...hadn't used the thing in a year, or more. Finally cut that $40/month out of the budget!

My girls don’t have cell phones so I still have a land line but it’s thru cable not phone line.

Also, should we have an electro magnet pulse ( possible) from dirty nuke. Landlines will be communication while cells will be worthless
