One for the ladies! Soooooooo.......when THAT whole bundle of happiness comes every month....

What do you do for reaaaaallly massively bad cramps?

I get all over cramping and very bad pain right on my spine. It's bad enough that I took one of the pain pills from my tooth extractions and it barely did anything.

So what do you do?

I've tried hot bath, cold bath, heating pad, ice packs, coffees, teas, pain meds, oils, incense and perfumes and it's just not doing anything.

Did you go to the doctor and talk about whether you have endometriosis?

@EllaDisenchanted Well, if nothing she suggests is working, what about just giving your body a break by using the lowest dose of the pill and not allowing your body to have a period for a long stretch of time?
@SW-User I'm already on the pill and I still get my period and equally as bad as always. But I'm going to request an implant birth control I've heard helps.

@EllaDisenchanted What I was suggesting was talking to your doctor about NOT taking the week of placebo pills but instead, jumping into a new pill pack. Do it for 9 months. It will be as if you were pregnant. No period. It gives your body a chance to recover.
I have the same thing. The cramps are incompasitating and i get pain from my uterus and back down to the arches in my feet. It just feels like knives. Terrible. The only thing ive found to stop those pains, which i dont like having to do, is some of the strong strong pain killers. Oxys is what i get from a friend and shit like that is all that works. Now, when i take birth control, it literally cuts the pain in half. But if youre not planning to have kids id just get a hysterectomy. Thats what id do now if i had already reproduced.
@lulaluboo hysterectomy isn't an option with my other health stuff. Too many possible complications.

Curl up in a hot shower for a while, that's what my ex used to do, she would sleep laying curled up in a hot shower when hers were really really bad, I do the same when I get a bad bug etc
@AlphaPuppy Already seeing her about it all, just a matter of trying things to help and no luck yet. Pot's not an option for me. I don't like things that make my brain fuzzy.

@EllaDisenchanted Well I can only say best of luck to you and I hope things improve soon
@AlphaPuppy So do I, mostly for poor hubby's sake.

Try NSAIDS, I found that naproxen worked best for my patients, but it has to be started a day or 2 before you get your period, and it.may upset your stomach.
@samueltyler2 Already did. was taking 4 at a time and nothing.

DIM (diindolylmethane) works over time to smooth out the whole cycle. look it up. only you know if it would be good for you to try.
