Why do people hate black cats

Once had a black cat. She was a very good cat. Missed her badly after a coyote caught her.😫

In my country a black cat is good luck. A white cat is bad luck ... Its just superstition so don't worry about it

To be blunt, people hate black cats (or cats generally) because most people are not that bright. The Catholic church once killed cats and cat owners because of fear of the devil. There's still people around to this very day that thinks yoga is satanic. The cat generally has been the most discriminated animal that unfortunately has fallen prey to not the brightest people on the planet.

I would say out of all the deaths to fear, death by stupid person is particularly dangerous *shudders.*
