Settling the wild wild west was no easy task for the pioneers.

@JustLikeGreta And so it's in our blood.

@JustLikeGreta Well Indians didn't always make for fun neighbours and nor should they. I mean when you have a half million pioneers trailing across your hunting ground, 'heading west for californey!' well you're bound to get a bit irate. And while you're an American Government who has 1 in every 10 group of pioneer groups being scalped and murdered, with the number growing everyday, well you're bound to want to do something about; and fair enough too.

@Allelse Something many or most people do not think about, the so-called Native Americans are not really native to the Americas, the migrated here across a land bridge from Siberia / Mongolia probably to find better hunting or fishing or possibly nicer living conditions. They are no more "native" than the Europeans that settled here to get away from religious persecution and / or to find better farming ground. Also, if you know much about history you would know that most of Custer's men at the Little Bighorn were shot by Indians with guns.
