@Cydramech I don't know how to trap her and I don't want to scare her.
I'm normally pretty good at making cats like me but this one has been abused

Second, don't tell anyone else about your plan.
Third, spend time preparing a place for the kitty before you still it in order to ensure it wouldn't run away.

@MasterofNone I don't think I'd get caught lol. Can you get charged for cat theift? I'd just say I didn't know it had an owner because it was malnourished or something

@MushroomFaerie well if they bought it then you do. And it doesn't hurt to be more careful.
Even if you get away with that excuse if you're caught you'll still have to return the cat.
You're doing a good thing. Just want you to see all possibilities. 🤞

@DeWayfarer yeah my baby was scared too. She did jump on me first though, clung to me while I tried to turn a corner but then got in the back. I'm only moving a 4 minute drive away in a low speed zone
