The Neighbor is cruel to her beautiful cat, should I steal kitty?

This cat is clearly starving and scared, she cries at night and I throw food for her to eat because she's too scared to come near.
The other Neighbor said that she told her she kicks the cat and doesn't feed her.
Shes a beautiful young kitty and I'm moving house soon and am looking for a kitty.
Should I steal this kitty and take care of her?
How do I steal her without scaring her?

Make sure you don't get caught.

[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] first look out for any CCTV cameras around.
Second, don't tell anyone else about your plan.
Third, spend time preparing a place for the kitty before you still it in order to ensure it wouldn't run away.

Yeah I suppose that's it.
[@531790,illusionofself] I don't think I'd get caught lol. Can you get charged for cat theift? I'd just say I didn't know it had an owner because it was malnourished or something

[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] well if they bought it then you do. And it doesn't hurt to be more careful.
Even if you get away with that excuse if you're caught you'll still have to return the cat.
You're doing a good thing. Just want you to see all possibilities. 🤞

Yeah do it! Gain the cats trust speedily so you can move with her

[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] You where lucky. And you said this one is scared. That makes a huge difference.
[@412417,DeWayfarer] yeah my baby was scared too. She did jump on me first though, clung to me while I tried to turn a corner but then got in the back. I'm only moving a 4 minute drive away in a low speed zone

[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] I wish you luck. 😊
I would take her. She isn’t being cared for. I hate people that hurt animals.

Good luck, you should definitely steal it & make her heal her wounds. How? That's the tricky part. Does she leave her outside sometimes? In that case, you should sneak to the yard and try to grab her silently.

Should you? I say go for it.

How? I suppose you could always trap her and move.
[@685216,Cydramech] I don't know how to trap her and I don't want to scare her.
I'm normally pretty good at making cats like me but this one has been abused
Cydramech · 36-40, M
[@656163,Mushroomfaerie] Well, find out what the cat likes to eat and go from there, I guess.
Thevy29 · 36-40, M
You can't call animal welfare or the RSPCA?
[@622125,Thevy29] they put animals down
Thevy29 · 36-40, M
Only if they can't find a good home for the animal. Legally they can take the cat of the owner.[@656163,Mushroomfaerie]

If an opportunity presents itself and you can get away with it, sure! Just be careful you don't get into trouble with an a elaborate how.
