do you think nowadays woman are more likely to sexually harass men?

drymer · 56-60, M
No... Women experience sexuality different than men... For example, men generally get turned on when they see naked women, while women generally get grossed out when they see naked men (don't blame them...) Men are usually "on the prowl", and it's a fine line between being suggestive and harassing... Women, on the other hand, will seldom "prey" on men even if they find them sexually attractive... They'd rather try to seduce in a very subtle way, but never harass...

Are men or women more likely to be cray stalkers? Maybe it's a perspective issue, but it seems the crazy stalker ex/crush or "overly attached girlfriend" (Less problem if it IS a girlfriend...) is more typical. Unless you ask SW, where viewing someone's profile or posts is considered crazy stalking.

On the other hand, for many if not most women there's less need for "unwanted sexual advances" as all they have to do is wink or something to get the guy to make the advance. This may change as guys get more afraid to make any sort of advances, though I can't see the social construct where men are required to take the initiative and women to feign lack of interest disappearing anytime soon (This is not to say the more extreme things that have been talked about in general are okay in any way or manner; just noting the dynamic that's putting men between tree and the bark will keep the unwanted sexual advances coming even if hormones weren't in play)

I keep waiting. . .😒
Women (in some parts of the world) have more freedom than in the past. Some women, like men, have shitty ideas about what is okay or acceptable, now they can act on it.

So, yes.

yuh, like 90% of the men wouldn't love that
Fernie · F
@guyroberts nope...they'd love it
guyroberts · 41-45, M
@Fernie and what evidence do you have for your contention here?
Fernie · F
@guyroberts where is yours?
SwarmSona · F

guyroberts · 41-45, M
yes. women dont complain when men act like a gentleman...
drymer · 56-60, M
@katielass You are right... In my mind, I was equating "sexual harassment" with "seduction"... Yet, it seems like some men believe that being vulgar and making crude sexual references is a way to "seduce" women...
🙄
katielass · F
@drymer Exactly. I think harassment is pretty much the same whether it's being done by man or woman. It's rude, unwanted behavior with a sexual flair.

They can. It's a choice.
