Does it make sense to raise the debt 1.5 trillion

Since the 60's this country has been getting raped by the "Greed Is Good" people. None of us is alive by choice but some people believe they are superior to others because they so. We have the intelligence, the talent and creativity, the wealth, as well as a Constitution, that can make this life experience a beautiful one for everyone of us not just a few at our expense. History shows that people will only endure an abusive, corrupt, greedy, leadership for so long. Look around the world, the rioting in the streets, chaos, killing, overthrowing the greedy, corrupt, leaderships. Is that what we need here?

It's a little late to pretend to be concerned about the national debt. You should have opened your mouth when oblamo was doubling it with nothing to show for it.

@Marmaduke One little problem with your statement. clinton didn't bring the deficit down. He didn't bring anything down except maybe the class the WH had before he and that pos hanging on his coattails brought with them. The republican congress balanced the budget but even that did not stop the overspending. The national debt increased under clintoon, like it has under every president. You hear budget surplus and you don't have a clue what that means. There was no fucking surplus of anything except stupidity.

Nope but the GOP will do anything for a so-called win. Bunch of spineless cowards.

@LyricalOne you are right. Let's raise taxes on Democrats and lower it for everyone else. Best of all worlds.

@MasterLee Let’s not saddle our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with crippling debt so they have the best of all worlds.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@LyricalOne we did that under Obama

Personally I try to keep my dept bellow 50 Billion. Anything above that is blatantly irresponsible, frankly.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
Yes because it will supercharge the economy. But you can't understand it.

And they were all complaining about the debt, pre T-Rump..but they do get to repeal the New Deal so its good...for them!🚬
MethDozer · M
Nah. It makes sense to cut foreign aid, military spending, and welfare. We could lower taxes and lower the debt then.
