Did you like the movie "Avatar"?

I wasn't really thrilled at the prospect of watching it but did anyway last night out of sheer boredom. I had thought it was just going to be an extravaganza of CGI special effects. Surprise, the movie pulled me in in the first 5 minutes.

I thought the performances were stellar, that James Cameron did a fantastic job of writing and directing. As for the effects, beautiful and masterfully crafted.
