What brought you to this site?

@whateverhappens yes insta is a shit show for narcissists and food bloggers..now it has the "story" feature like snapchat...I'm pretty sure they'll add food delivery option to it on the next update...

@Justbychance To be honest, I can only imagine how things used to be in the starting but I guess that in the beginning, things have a quality that only deteriorates as time moves on. The only analogy I can draw here is with music specially the radio. I used to listen to a bulky, inconvenient-to-carry radio all day long cuz the music of my choice wasn't readily available on phones, or i pods...but now radio is full of shitty music and commercials and that excitement of finding "that one song" which just made your day is no longer there....

I'd say you have it right there in what you say. Yes, things do move on, and some might always say things change for the better. But had any of those people of today been around during the day of AOL, Yahoo Chat, Yahoo Messenger (and such) it was much more entertaining. Back 20+ years, this is how things moved onwards up to 2004:

1993: Mosaic, first browser adapted to the general public.
GeoCities, a service that allows users to create their own web pages.
1995: The Web has one million websites.
1997: GeoCities surpasses one million users.
AOL Instant Messenger allows Internet chat.
Blogging begins.
Google launches.
1998: GeoCities goes public.
Friends Reunited, the first social network to become popular among Internet users
Yahoo! buys GeoCities for 3.57 billion dollars.
The Blogger platform launches.
The dotcom bubble burst and the future of Internet is more uncertain than ever.

@blasphemy666 I went through a lot of stuff growing up and EP was the only place where I got to talk with people who suffered the same experiences and that is definitely worth putting up with people playing around with what ever. In fact fetishes often come about because someone's normal psycho-sexual development got disrupted by trauma of some kind but they don't know it because nobody talks about that sort of thing.

@Subsumedpat I think fetishes and sex, in general, is very therapeutic since it's a way or unwinding what we hold back in terms of who we really are.

@blasphemy666 You are right and sometimes with fetish it becomes an escape from stress but I am sure that can vary a lot.

@Byron8by7 me too... the only difference is that I purposely kept myself away from this site for a long time while constantly checking EP in the hope that maybe it would be on its feet again...but finally i gave in and I'm not disappointed...

I did not expect EP to come back, which is why I joined SW right away. I enjoyed the connections I made on EP and I wanted to maintain the relationships.

@SW-User yes...I feel the same...even the interface is quite similar to EP...plus it's my first day here and I've already started receiving messages from all the kinky dudes so I guess I'm home now! :D

@Peppa facebook is meaningless since you don't really know the people you add on facebook too...but atleast here you can speak your mind being anonymous and all

@Deadcutie yeah...it is a good place if you have an urge to talk to people without any background info or expectations...EP was a pretty good site btw...this is the closest thing to EP on the internet right now

@blasphemy666 I'm more drawn to the zany and outright messed up questions, and answering them within my unique views.
I never knew EP but when sodahed closed down to members many Facebook groups started up for the members to stay connected and carry on the messed up questions and polls. A few members on there pointed me here.

@Deadcutie Isn't internet the meanest yet the most empathetic thing that ever happened to humanity....I mean it's my first day here and I have talked to more people than I ever did in the last couple of weeks in the "real world"...I wonder whether it's stupid or unhealthy or both...
